Standardized Safety is Better Safety.
An agricultural agency’s specifications included an RFQ and SOW for protective clothing to include protection from unknown contaminants. In reviewing the SOW and the products requested, it was clear to Arbill that the current request would not serve the customer well—with the potential to provide inadequate protection.
THE PROBLEM
The Need for Proper PPE to Protect Against Unknown Contaminants
The requested product was tested against 30 such contaminants, but it was clear that the product would not serve them well. While the tensile strength on the requested garment was slightly higher, this was not the intended use for their environment.
THE SOLUTION
A Reliable, Experienced PPE Partner
AN ALTERNATIVE—WITH OVER 3000 TESTED CONTAMINANTS
Arbill worked with the customer’s safety group to suggest they re-look at their specifications to more closely align with the SOW and match that up with a garment designed to better protect against these unknown elements.
